Zipper Box Bag made with a Serger

Been inspired lately to make some life size projects (non-miniature) - gasp! I'm taking this fab online Beginner Serger class at Craftsy and we just made box bags. The teacher, Amy Alan, is great. Here's mine:

I gave the bag to my mom for her birthday. She happened to be carrying it while shopping and photographed it at Zara:
